10 Greek Beaches you shouldn’t miss!

As you can imagine, during my trips to the US and Canada and my life in Boston, I’ve accumulated lots of photos, tips, and suggestions to share with you. With a rough calculation, I have 4 months worth of blog content about traveling!! But, it’s officially summer and I’m back home in Greece, so all I want to blog about is beaches, islands and vacation ideas! A few weeks back I shared with you my mini-guide on how to choose a Greek island for your vacations. Today, I’m sharing with you 10 Greek beaches you shouldn’t miss (and why)! Of…

Alden & Harlow, Harvard Square

Alden & Harlow is probably one of my favorite restaurants around Boston. It is located on Brattle street just around the corner from Harvard Square! The first time I visited Alden & Harlow was last year for brunch! It took me a while to discover the restaurant, despite the fact that I frequented Harvard Square, since it is located below street level. I was a newbie in Boston, but I had read that it is an up and coming restaurant in town (by now it is a well established one), known for its American cuisine and locally sourced ingredients. I was charmed by the restaurant’s…

A walk around Greenwich Village, NYC

Today I want to introduce you to my favorite neighborhood in New York City: Greenwich Village. As per Wikipedia “Greenwich Village has been known as an artists’ haven, the Bohemian capital, the cradle of the modern LGBT movement, and the East Coast birthplace of both the Beat and ’60s counterculture movements.” Needless to say that I didn’t know any of these when I visited Greenwich Village 5 years ago, but it stole my heart! Greenwich Village has lots to explore: shopping streets, interesting architecture, Universities and Sex and the City spots! Need I say more? Today I’m taking you on a little tour in the Village…

Which Greek Island is ideal for you?

Updated on April, 2019 Did you know that Greece has about 6000 islands? Yes indeed. But from those islands only around 200 are inhabited! I get questioned a lot of times about which Greek island one should visit, which honestly isn’t a question that is answered easily, because not all of them are the same and not all people have the same tastes! In this post I *tried* as hard as I could to put on a mini guide on which island would suit you better depending on your preferences. If you like beautiful scenery: Santorini, Milos, Hydra Photos of Santorini…

I love New York!

That photo shoot should have taken place in New York in order to match the t-shirt. But it happened in Cambridge, MA next to the Charles River and across from Harvard Business School (which you can see in a photo in the background). Now, this t-shirt is the only souvenir t-shirt I own. My souvenir collection is usually about magnets and shot glasses. For the latter I have a cool display that my uncle made for me. Needless to say that it is already full!! But t-shirts? Never.I find them too tacky and not well made. That is not the case…

Magnolias on Commonwealth Avenue

Magnolias are in full bloom in Boston and specifically on Commonwealth Avenue, which is one of my favorite streets in Boston. I love the intricate architectural details combined with the beautiful magnolia blossoms. I couldn’t possibly choose just one photo so here are 4 for you! How are you enjoying spring??

Cherry Blossoms in Washington, DC

This year I crossed not one, but two experiences from my wish list. The first one was visiting California. The second one was visiting Washington, DC when the cherry blossoms are in peak bloom! Which for me is the second best thing to experiencing the cherry blossoms in Japan. I spent roughly 24 hrs in DC with the sole purpose to see and of course shoot the cherry blossoms! I know I come across as crazy (I call it dedication), but I was super lucky as the weather was more than fine the day that I visited and I got…
