Spring is an ideal season for weekend breaks in Greece. The days are longer, the weather is mild, and the trees are blooming. Bonus: the cities are not crowded with tourists. That means you will find better accommodation deals! Today I’ve rounded up 5 Greek cities ideal for a weekend escape. I have rounded up tips on what to do once you get there (visit, walk, shop and eat)! Athens Well, a proper city break guide for Greece should start with the capital right? (*cough, cough*), which happens to be my hometown as well! Visit: The Acropolis as well as…

A quick guide to Brighton

Today’s post is a “break” from the previous food related ones! It’s also a break from featuring places and cities in North America (can’t help it since I’m stationed in Boston). It is about a city that although I’ve visited only once, is a favorite of mine! Read on to see my favorite spots and must-dos in Brighton! Visiting Brighton was on my list for a long time! Every time I visited my friends in London and proposed a trip to Brighton they said that they’ve been there and weren’t impressed! I mean how that was even possible?!? Why so much fuss about…

3 Days in New York City

Last week I showed you some snippets from New York City and mainly the festive decorations, so now it’s time for a proper photo diary about the places I (re)visited and the restaurants that I dined! Oh yes, food is important for me in NYC because during my first visit I had a hard time finding decent (meaning non fast food) places to eat, except for the ones that my friends had recommended! Festive New York City

Hello and Happy New Year! Wishing you all the best for 2015! Of course I have many photos and tips to share from my visit, but this post is about the decorations that I liked the most: – the windows of Bergdorf Goodman in 5th avenue inspired by…

And well, Christmas lights (more than any other kind of decorations) are my favorite! So this post is filled with lights and decorations that I came across in my wanderings in Boston and beyond! You can pop in my Instagram feed as well to see more as I tend to shoot and share while walking to and from my yoga classes!

2 Days in Montreal

Sooo…two weeks ago I packed up my little pink suitcase, took the warmest clothes I have and traveled to Montreal to visit my friends! It was not my first time there, but this mini trip was ideal for revisiting some favorite spots and discovering new ones. Oh and eat delicious food!! My friends are experts at getting me in places with yummy food and desserts and as I say, I have to fast for a few days before getting there! My trip to Montreal (by bus) was an adventurous, to say the least as there was a snowstorm that day in…

Exploring Boston: South End

South End is probably my favorite neighborhood at Boston. Maybe it has to do with the fact that the area  has an abundance of Victorian townhouses (the largest historic district in the US). Maybe it has to do with the small parks surrounded by brick English style houses. Maybe it’s the small stores one encounters throughout the area. I can pinpoint exactly what it is, but I like it! I initially visited the area after walking around Chinatown and Theater District on a hot September day. But when the time came for me to review my photos, none made…
