I try to sneak in outfit photo sessions while traveling, I really do, but I tend to gravitate towards certain pieces of clothing (looking at you grey jeans) and always strive for comfort and convenience versus “I have to wear XYZ for the blog”.
Yet, I couldn’t pass up that metal wall of de Young museum in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, which actually begged to be a background for an outfit shoot!
The Golden Gate Park is a place you should definitely visit in San Francisco. It has so many things to do that you can easily spend a whole day there! We actually roamed around the park, passing by the Conservatory of Flowers, California Academy of Sciences and deYoung museum, before entering the Japanese Tea Garden.

The garden is the oldest of its kind in the US and was created back in 1894. The garden has an entrance fee of $8.00. It features classic Japanese elements such as arched drum bridge, pagodas, stone lanterns, stepping stone paths, native Japanese plants, serene koi ponds and a zen garden. If you do visit, make some time to try some tea in the tea house. It was a hot day so I had some iced green tea and we all tried mochi, which is a small dessert made from rice. Now it looks like a Turkish delight, but the taste was different of course.
As for my look, I’m wearing an Ann Taylor shirt (which is semi-sheer but also light reflecting, so you can’t actually tell), my trusted grey jeans, Zara bag (also seen here) and Adidas sneakers. The sunglasses are by Moschino.
I love mochi, it’s one of my favorite sweets! Your SF posts have been so dreamy. A button down shirt and jeans is always a good combo, especially while traveling.
